These are gorgeous - simple, clean, and well-proportioned. They also have the convenience of a magnetic top, making it super-easy to refill. However, 2 issues - 1) you set the grind coarseness by rotating the bottom of the grinder - but when you hold the mill to grind pepper or salt, it's really difficult to grind without accidentally changing the setting. 2) most importantly, the mill isn't that consistent or effective at grinding. For the price, I just expected more.
