I grew up in Japan and this was a staple in our home. Ramen shops kept them on the tables or next to your stove. Seriously, if you own a ramen shop you need to have one of these on each table for your customers. Everyone in my family has a different degree of spiciness they prefer and the S&B Nanami Togarashi solves this issue as they can add as much as they want. It’s also great on veg, eggs, meat, and marinades. Must try!!!This is the perfect spice blend to add to any dish!!We first saw this at a sushi place and tried it in the soup, amazing!!! Went out next day and bought thisHighly recommendGreatYum!Purchased this and loved the flavor. Upon review of the container I saw this. Warning: Reproductive HarmMy wife and I have not had a child in over 15 years. I’m not sure if it was the vasectomy or the Nanami Togarashi. Either way it may be worth trying this product before dropping big money on that insurance deductible.I’ve used this brand for years! Use it for ramen noodles or rice. Wonderful!I’m usually a plane Jane so when I find something that can spice up my food I’m hooked, I used this on steak or on omelettes can’t get enough.Such a great product. I mainly use this in Asian style soups & stir-fry’s. I wouldn’t say it’s insanely spicy at all but I enjoy spicy foods. It does have a decent kick to it though! Again, I’m a spice junkie so I use a good bit. The double pack is a good price as well, especially not being near an Asian Market. This took 4 months to arrive due to current delays. Because it was low value (and postage was free) I just gave up after a month and bought locally at more expensive prices when I could get to the shops again. I bought thinking it would be dispatched locally so felt like it was my bad for not checking delivery. Package did say air mail postage from Japan. Was shocked to see it.Was wrapped very well in padded bag and two bottles individually wrapped in bubble wrap. Expiry date is 2023 luckily. It is the same stuff I’m used to eating. It’s a favourite seasoning on chicken katsu don and grilled terayaki salmon or on top of a stir fry for us so we normally go through a bit when eating comfort food.A little bit expensive if you ask us. The flavours are tend to take sides on a fruity note, like there's a bit of zest of lemons! My wife even said it is somehow slightly bitter. But it is perfect for many Japanese dishes: ramen, udon, etc. We even put it on our sushi and sashimi, steam rice, homemade "Yoshinoya" beef bowl, and many many more!Nanami Togarashi is an amazing spice that I use on all sort of Japanese food - udon, ramen, salads, skewers, you name it. That said, I found the packaging to be too big for the size of the bottle and I would suggest that they use different packaging to send it in.I have this in my spice cupboard all the time. It’s great on so many dishesThis stuff is delicious and adds a good punch to any dish. I purchased mainly to sprinkle on noodle dishes (ramen, soba, udon) but have found loads of uses. Very tastey and a little goes a long way.
